Underneath your clothes

While it is vital to pay close attention to your outward appearance, many forget that it is equally important to think carefully about what one wears underneath their clothes.

STEP OUT IN STYLE

While it is vital to pay close attention to your outward appearance, many forget that it is equally important to think carefully about what one wears underneath their clothes.

Before you start to revamp your inner wardrobe, know what your size is, how to find comfort in what you buy as well as what fabrics are best, writes Stella Nassuna

Ladies
The list is endless, depending on what one is wearing. From boy shorts, high cut, lace, bikinis, thongs, seamless, G-string, granny and tangas.

No matter how sexy a particular item of underwear is, comfort is key. If a particular fabric feels irritable on the skin, let it go, otherwise it may wreak havoc on your comfort, especially when it is hot.

Likewise, do not buy anything that feels a tad too tight. It will leave marks on your body and you do not want that.
In choosing the right fabric, avoid silk, satin, polyester, latex and lycra if you are going to have a busy day. In this case, cotton is more appropriate as it allows for breathing.
Like with the ladies, comfort should be men’s guideline

Men
Men’s choices range from boxers to briefs, trunks, bikini, thong and themed underwear. Thongs and bikinis for guys are for the more daring man.

Like with the ladies, comfort should be your guide in choosing what best suits you. Men’s underwear also comes in different fabrics, from cotton, silk and spandex, name it.

If you want to impress your partner in the bedroom with something in satin or silk (or similar alluring material), then by all means purchase a few, but only for those special occasions.
