The Government of Uganda has secured funds from the European Union( EU) under the MDG initiative through the Ministry of water and Environment , Directorate of water Development ,Water and Sanitation Development Facility-South Western branch (WSDF-SWB) to provide access to safe water supply and sanitation for people living in small towns (STS) and Rural Growth Centres (RGCs) and intends to use part of the funds to procurecontractors for construction of water supply and sanitation schemes.
