Tony Odur struck again to remain at the helm of the top scorers’ chart with 10 goals as KCCA beat Kira Young to take the FUFA Super League lead.

KCCA, who had their other goals from Ronnie Kisekka ad Michael Birungi,  are now level with URA at 20 points but the Lugogo side leads the 16 team race on a superior goal difference.

KCCA’s cruise to the top was aided by URA’s draw with Vipers in Lugazi  and Sports Club Victoria’s draw with Bul Bidco.

The focus on Tuesday shifts Victoria University and URA. The two sides meet in a grand clash that could have a bearing on the top positions. Coach George Nsimbe was a very happy man yesterday.

“I see that old entertaining brand of KCCA football slowly but steadily getting back. It is good to win while also thrilling the crowds. That’s why they call football the beautiful game,” said a visibly happy Nsimbe.

CRO, 7-0 losers to KCCA in their last game, continued with their downward spiral as they lost at home to Proline to remain bottom of the bottom.

In Jinja, Bidco maintained its unbeaten home run by holding favourites Victoria University in a match which coach Kefa Kisala insisted should have ended in favour of his team if only his players had belief.

''SCVU is not a very good side like others think, a draw at home was not bad at all but my players have got to start believing in their potential .They take long to believe that they can actually be the best team in the league,'' said Kisala.
