1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the UN Development Business online of 1st July 2009 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.
2. The Government of Uganda has received a Loan from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of Uganda Post-Primary Education & Training Expansion and Improvement (ADB Education IV) Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contracts for Supply and Delivery of Reference Textbooks and Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Workshop Equipment.
