Siraj Musindo has become a darling for many a football fan not only at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) but also in Mbarara town.
And his continued threatening runs at defenders and his ability to score goals even from the most tight angles in the ongoing Nile Special University football league, has seen him emerge the sole saviour for MUST as he has saved his side from the agony of defeat.

The prolific striker was at it again on Saturday when his double strike not only saw MUST grab a point against Uganda Martyrs University, but also extend his tally to 13 goals and remain on top of the scorers chat.
Musindo’s early 4th minute strike looked to have won the first game for MUST as the entire first half belonged to the hosts, but the visitors answered back through Henry Nsubuga’s 56th header before they went into the lead three minutes later with a well taken free kick by John Tisubila.
Tisubila’s kick came after MUST first choice custodian Hannington Nuwamanya saw red for handling the ball outside the box, but his replacement Phillip Lusiba could not do much to stop Tisubila’s resultant kick.
However, Musindo, as expected, curled in a free kick on 70 minutes to level the matters, sending the enthusiastic home fans into wild jubilation like they had won the game, but that was to show their love for the striker.

MUST was playing for the second time without a coach on the technical bench, after newly contracted Ali Tarbuley failed to show up.
“We did not have him today because he has ‘somewhat’ domestic problems, and we don’t know how soon they will end for him to re-join us,” Said sports tutor Charles Tumwesigye.
However, Tumwesigye’s statement could as well reflect a dissolved relationship between the institution and the travelling tactician especially after MUST was humbled 6-1 by MUBS in their prior game.
