Eddy Kenzo has won over so many fans over time and it was no surprise seeing them grace Hotel Africana parking lot in good numbers on Friday.

It was his "Mbilo Mbilo," concert, a concert he held at a perfect time when his fans are still in jubilant mood over his BET Award triumph. So, they were bound to come and the numbers, just to repeat this, were good.

The evening started off at 8:30pm with performances from DJ Slick Stuart and DJ Roja on the turntables warming up the floor for the main performances.

Before Kenzo took to stage, the main highlights included the US Ambassador to Uganda Scott H. DeLisi addressing the crowds acknowledging them for supporting their own and also a longer documentary of his journey to stardom from his childhood relayed on giant screens pitched on stage.

After that, some activities were held by Airtel, the show's main sponsors, for a reveler or two to win smartphones and then Kenzo got on stage, a few minutes to 10:00pm. His entry was pompous, clad in a white outfit with red stripes.  Lights had been switched off to let him come on with style to it. When he eventually took to stage, past his backup dancers, the crowds broke into ruptures. He milked the cheers for a few seconds before starting off his performance.

All of his old and new songs like "Ogenda Kunzisa," "Nice and Lovely" "Stamina" and the popular "Sitya Loss," that has taken him places were performed.

In between his performances, fellow singing counterparts, Kenyan Amani and Tanzanian Ommy Dimpoz joined him, and there were performances from his baby mama Rema Namakula, Gravity Omutujju, Khalifa Aganaga, King Saha and Bobi Wine.

It was a good show.
