From a timid boy 18 years back when he started singing Sinzooba at Pride theatre, Ronald Mayinja of the New Eagles on Friday evening treated his fans - who were excited by how far he had come - to an Ala Carte of his best music at Labonita Theatre.

It was not the Mayinja, who in his first show had to put down the microphone to receive tips from his fans, getting a scalding from his first director Charles James Ssenkubuge, but a bold musician who managed to control the crowd.

It was such a good show that by the time the curtain called, even those who had come doubting his stature in today's music left convinced that he was still among the top educative music the country has bred.

"At times I feel like retiring but there are so many things to talk about yet my fans are always supportive and asking for more," said the musician in a show that had more of his fellow musicians singing some of their best and old numbers.

The show was brought to light when in his song "Tuwalana Nguzi" a court skit was organised by Bakayimbira Dramactors with Abbey Mukiibi as a guest artist.

It was so hilarious, leaving many laughing as Andrew Benon Kibuuka,  a legal counsel appeared in court with  a file not for Ronald Mayinja the  head of the rioters but for Mayinja, a quarry.

Musicians including Chris Evans, Hilderman joined some of the New Eagles  crew, that was coming from Ssese Islands to  beef him up as he played his best.

It was indeed a perfect show, one that has been missed were a musician is now looking at  a launch but having a recap of some of his best.
