Netball World Cup (Sydney, Australia): August 7 - 16

She Cranes new coach Rashid Mubiru wants the team to have more friendly matches before the Netball World Cup starts.

The team is training in Kampala ahead of the game’s biggest event due in Australia next month. So far, the team has played two domestic friendly games.

The team led by Peace Proscovia, defeated men’s select teams 56-51 and 68-52 respectively.

On the international stage, the team participated in the Diamond Challenge in South Africa last month. Mubiru insists that players need to play more games so that he can assess their performance.

“The players can still meet local teams before the World Cup starts,” Mubiru told New Vision.
