The Mufti, Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubajje, has told the Muslims of Ntinda in Kampala to stick to the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) constitution and avoid deviating from the right Islamic norms.

He advised them to seek guidance from the council on issues concerning their areas and the development of Islam.

Mubajje was addressing a delegation of Muslims from Ntinda Mosque in his office at the UMSC headquarters in Old Kampala recently.

The delegation, led by Sheikh Hassan Kato, had gone to seek Mubajje’s guidance on a number of issues regarding Muslim unity, development and leadership.

Mubajje commended the delegation for showing concern for their mosque in particular and the Ummah in general.

“Your visit is an indication that you believe in Muslim unity and development.  UMSC, through its constitution and structures, is ready to work with you for the good of Islam,” he said.

Sheikh Kato commended Mubajje for championing the cause of unity and development among Muslims in Uganda.

Mubajje donated Korans and other Islamic literature to the delegation. He encouraged them to read the books and share the knowledge with their colleagues.
