Shout out; the Mobile game, Web application and confidential SMS platform allows real-time, two-way communication between a user and a trained counselor on issues concerning  sexually transmitted infections, early pregnancies, drug abuse, premature sex and other reproductive health. The application is accessible through all mobile networks in Uganda.

Shout out Web and SMS application aims at to raising awareness on the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
 
“The application provides a one-on-one conversation and allows a user ask questions anonymously for those who would like to keep their identity unknown,” Katamba said.
 
The health care startup launched by Afrosoft IT Solutions Uganda’s founder; Mr. Ronald Katamba, aims at countering the rising spread of sexually transmitted infections, abortions, early pregnancies, drug abuse, premature sex and reproductive health generally. The application targets the 15-30yrs age bracket.
 
Ronald added that Shout out app also aims to create demand for HIV, early pregnancies, drug abuse and reproductive health counseling services, track availability and utilization of youth sensitive HIV services.
“The tool is able to conduct opinion polls and collect views on specific topics from the public,” Ronald revealed.
