Moses Golola beat

Titus Tugume (KO)

Many people are still wondering how kick boxer motor mouth Moses Golola ‘Hot Temper’ knocked down Titus Tugume in what was termed ‘The Battle of the Champions’ at Freedom City on Friday.

In less than a minute the business was already done for Golola and UPDF soldier Tugume was no more after two minutes of paralysis due to the two quickfire punches that Golola landed on the ‘Hard Rock’.

While Tugume was left in disbelief after gaining consciousness, his promoter Kampala University vice chancellor, Prof. Badru Kateregga immediately accepted defeat.

“It was unfortunate. We have been defeated and those things happen,” he stated.

Over confidence

This could have cost Tugume a lot as many fans had almost written off Golola’s might especially considering the way he lost to Hungarians Andras Nagy and Mate Zamboki before home crowds.

Nairobi Training

Many underrated Golola’s move to Nairobi for training. Yet it has evidently improved his skills and his Nairobi based manager Paul Kabaale said the fighter is destined to become make him a bigger champion.

Big fan base

Though Tugume looked to be on the advantage, Moses Golola had a bigger fan base at the arena. The cheering put Golola into the mood to act fast.

“Golola is still a hero from what he has done,” said Ssalongo Kasawuli of Samona Products who was part of the huge crowd, after the fight.
