THE Premier League continues today with seven matches on card. The biggest clash of the day pits 2011 champions Express against the 2010 champions URA at Lugazi with SC Villa taking on Proline at Nakivubo.
Defending champions KCCA FC are in action against their bogey side Police at Kavumba while Simba FC fresh from a 2-0 win over Proline, will want to extend their winning streak when the host Bull FC in Bombo.
Earlier fears that the league would not continue because of Constitutional Court injunction ordering government to stop recognize FUFA as a legal entity were allayed yesterday by FUFA vice president-Super League Mujib Kasule who assured the press that the matches are on.
“I would like to call upon clubs and fans to ignore what they have heard in the media about the league being stopped.”
