The revamped edition hit the streets Sunday afternoon, ushering in a new phase in the family newspaper's existence.

Renowned designer David Billington has been at the very heart of the redesign, working closely with the editors and the rest of the team to produce yet another fine edition.

Earlier, Vision Group Editor-in-Chief Barbara Kaija said the new Sunday Vision has been packaged as a family paper, so buyers are expected to read it with their children and other family members.

"Parents who want to turn their children into leaders should invest in reading with and for their children because readers are leaders," advised Kaija.

The redesigned Sunday Vision has got Toto on Sunday, an entertaining and educative comic magazine.

It also has Innovations, a section that features valuable inventions and ideas. You will also find Motoring, an ultimate guide for motorists and car lovers. And not forgetting Auntie Money, a lady who goes around town scouting the best items at the lowest prices.

For cartoon lovers, the magically hilarious Snoggie is back and will run alongside the equally thrilling Ras Around the Week to spice the reader's weekend with more laughter.

Also new in Sunday Vision is Joachim Buwembo, a veteran columnist with a rare sense of humour that appeals across age groups and social classes. "I sometimes think my wife should demand copyright for whatever I write because she has been so supportive, that I derive some of my work from the analyses she makes of a wide range of happenings,"  quips Buwembo.

These new sections come alongside the already existing, but revamped, sections like Pearl of Africa, CSI, Election Watch and the refreshly fashioned Sunday Xtra pull-out that will leave your family marvelling at how sweet life can be if made a bit simpler.

"We have made Sunday Vision more dynamic to give our readers amazing value for their money. The new paper is built using the best social media concepts and new innovations to keep readers at the cutting edge," says Billington, who is pictured in the photo immediately above seated on the right.

He is also behind the design of the UK's most successful paper, Mail on Sunday.
