Buddu were held on their travel as they shared the spoils with Ssese at Rutoboka in the second round of the Masaza Cup group matches.

It was Buddu’s first time to drop any point after winning all their four matches of the first round in this year’s competition.

They took the lead early in the first half but allowed Ssese to level the score in the 30th minute. Despite the slip up, Buddu Coach Stephen Bogere said it was a “good game” and “we are not demoralized”.

His side still leads Group B with 13 points in five games. Ssese is in second with nine points.

Kkooki, who are in the same group, could lose three points to Mawogola after failing to show up for their away match.

Chairman for the technical committee Festus Kirumira said all matches in group A have been rescheduled to allow smooth running of the group stage.

Meanwhile, holders Gomba have not won a single game in all their five matches played in Group C.

Action continues on Sunday in all the four groups.
