There were lots of fabulous prizes to be won by those who took a shot at the raffle, with some winning iPods, gift hampers and air tickets courtesy of Ethiopian Airways.

Jane Mirembe and Sam Lubanga were the lucky winners of a return air ticket to the Seychelles Islands for their honeymoon, thanks to  Ethiopian airlines.

The exhibitors who put up exceptional decor and displays also did not go home empty-handed as they scooped awards and certifi cates for the tremendous work they tirelessly did in the three days.  Prizes like Bidco hampers, Samsung galaxy phones, microwaves, vacuum cleaners and fridges were given out.

Keturah Kamugasa, the Vision Group head of magazines, who was part of the judges’ panel, said choosing this year’s best was difficult as everyone put up an extra effort in displays and décor. “The winners were judged by innovation, creativity, display, customer care and visual appeal,” Kamugasa said.

The Bride and Groom Expo is Uganda’s premier annual wedding planning experience, which brings together hundreds of wedding exhibitors under one roof, with amazing discounts, giveaways and top-notch entertainment.

There were great performances by Daniel Kaweesi, the winner of the just concluded Coca Cola Rated Next show, Rebecca Nanziri and Kenneth Mugabi.
