Stand-up comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi held his maiden one-and-half hour long show titled "Man From Ombokolo" at Kampala Serena Hotel as planned, Tuesday evening, attracting a good crowd of his followers.

The evening was started off by DJ Apeman on the wheels doing mostly old skool music before the jocular Alex Muhangi, the evening's emcee, came on at 8:30pm and ushered Janzi Band for live music performances.

They were awesome.

Then Bebe Cool and Gagamel got on and did their time making it an hour or so of music performances before the main act of the night, Salvado, took to stage.

He came on at 10:00pm, first, alongside his dancing male friends from Arua, who amused everyone with their lingala dancing abilities.

Draped in a white shirt and blue pants with suspenders, the comedian started off his material as is his usual routine.

Salvador's girlfriend Daphne Frankstock was in attendance

Miming and cutting short some hitting songs to pick at lazy singing performers, before digging into his family from Ombokolo, especially his father who was present at the show.

It's from there that he swept off to a range of other topics that cracked the audience.

The show was clearly geared for adult audience due to a little salty language and his sexual innuendoes.

One of his highlights was when he took on Indians and joked thus; "I have lost so many jobs to perform before Indians because I remind them of someone." The crowd went silent at the joke and immediately burst out laughing in unison after deciphering he reminded Indians of the late president Idi Amin.

On the whole, the comedian had a good show.

He has set the standard high for his fellow jokers at a time the comedy industry has received a good battering from the public for being less creative.

Will they follow his path or will they wait for their time?

The jury waits.

The night ended at 11:00pm.
