EAST Africa clubs volleyball giants Kenya Pipeline have confirmed their participation in the 17th edition of the NSSF KAVC International due in Kampala starting August 10.

But five-time Africa Women’s Club Champions Kenya Prisons are yet to respond to an invitation to take part in one of the region’s biggest events.

Uganda Volleyball Federation (UVF) sent invitations to the two teams earlier on.

Two more teams from Kenya –– National Water and KCB side were also invited.

According to KAVC president Mofaht Masaba, they are waiting for Kenya Prisons to state their position ahead of the two-day competition.

“We have started receiving confirmations from foreign clubs. And I can confirm we shall have foreign teams from Zimbabwe and Malawi as well,” Masaba stated.
