Private clinics to support govt in dispensing drugs

Pader District Health Department in partnership with the PACE, a local NGO have selected two private clinics to distribute drugs to children below 5 years

PADER - Pader District Health Department in partnership with the PACE, a local NGO have selected two private clinics to distribute drugs to children below 5 years
 
The District Health Inspector in charge of the Village Health TeamS and Health Assistants says the clinics are NUMEM and Top Care.

They will support the work of VHTs in distributing drugs like Coartem, ORS, Zinc, and Amoxilline, to children below 5 years in Pader Town Council.

Okidi says they selected these clinics due to Negligence of duty by some VHTs in the town council.

He emphasized to the Public that the drugs are free of Charge to the communities in order to fight Diarrhea, Malaria Anemia, and Malnutrition among other Diseases that attack Children.

Pader Town Council Health Assistant  Moses Ogwang advised the clinics owners to give the medicine to only the needy
