FUFA to support girls'' soccer team

The local football governing body FUFA, has promised assistance to the girls’ soccer teams that will represent Uganda at the Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Associations (FEASSSA) Games in Rwanda.

FUFA vice president in charge of schools Justus Mugisha confirmed the development at the closure of the National Ball Games I at Ntare school last week.

Kawempe Muslim and Citizen High School will carry Uganda’s flag at the Games due August 15-23 in Butare. “We have already worked out a plan on how to facilitate two teams that will represent Uganda in Rwanda,” Mugisha said. Mugisha said most school heads are finding it very difficult to facilitate their teams.
