Namubiru gets new manager after drug scandal

KAMPALA - Singer Iryn Namubiru has hired a new manager after following out with Thadeus Mubiru, who is also her cousin.

Richard Sebadduka Mr. Flava is now the person charged with booking gigs and promoting the singer's events to the public and press.

He is will also be expected to network and talk to people about the artist and the like. On giving Flava the job, Iryn said:

"He has followed my music for a while and recently asked to work with me. I have spent close to three months assessing him and believe he will be able to do the job."

Iryn's relationship with Thadeus went sour after he was implicated in an embarassing drug scandal that got the beautiful-eyed singer jailed in Japan.

The singer reportedly gave her items to take to a music promoter in Japan where she was slated to have shows, only to get arrested when drugs were found concealed in them. The two parted ways in June 2013
