Museveni hands over agricultural equipment

President Museveni has handed over agricultural equipment to beneficiaries from Teso, Bunyoro, Luwero and Karamoja regions.

KAMPALA - President Museveni has handed over agricultural equipment to beneficiaries from Teso, Bunyoro, Luwero and Karamoja regions.
Museveni flagged off the equipment that included tractors, ox-ploughs, grain milling machines, hand hoes, hydraform machines and Kololo Independence Grounds on Saturday.
The handover of the items is in fulfillment of presidential pledges made under Special Programmes of the Office of the Prime minister.

Museveni advised the beneficiaries to sue the equipment to improve production and household incomes in the regions that are recovering from insurgency.
The Prime Minister, Dr Ruhakana Rugunda said the new equipment would enhance production, productivity, value addition, and the much needed youth employment for beneficiaries.
