FORMER Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi has said that he has not met President Yoweri Museveni for the last seven months.

In a twitter response to Allan Kasujja a Ugandan journalist working with the BBC, Mbabazi said that reports in the media that he has held talks with Museveni, the chairman of the ruling National Resistance Movement were false.

“That report is not true. I have neither met nor discussed that or any subject with the President in the last seven months,” Mbabazi said.

Mbabazi, the former secretary general of NRM was responding to an inquisitive tweet from Kasujja.

“Good morning sir- So did you discuss the possibility of becoming President Museveni's Deputy President with him?” Kasujja asked.

During Christmas prayers, Mbabazi disclosed that he will in the near future announce his next move that will change the political scene of Uganda.

He was addressing Christians at Karebeizi Church of Uganda in Nyakinoni Sub County, Kanungu district where he attended Christmas prayers with his family.

“This is not the time to talk about politics but very soon I will announce my next political move which I believe will be news to everyone,” Mbabazi said in his brief speech.
