Is Stecia Mayanja's marriage in trouble?

SINGER Stecia Mayanja, who got married last month, has refuted claims that her marriage is on the rocks.

The musician denied reports that she had abandoned her husband, Abasi Mubiru, soon after the wedding.

In an audio recording making rounds on social media, a voice purported to be that of Stecia denounced Bukedde journalist Josephat Sseguya for spreading lies.

 In an early morning broadcast Bukedde TV’s Ekyenkya on Monday, Sseguya said that Stecia had left her husband.

In the recording, an angry Stecia went on the offensive while dispelling the reports as false.

“How can Sseguya shame my husband Mubiru that he is poor and a conman?  We haven’t gone to his doorstep to ask for food……Whether my husband is poor or not, he won my heart and I’m not about to leave him any time soon” Stecia complained in the recording.

In the recording, she also revealed that she was in South Africa, and will return this Friday to clear the air concerning the allegations made against her and the husband.

“Sseguya I am going to make you apologise to me,” Stecia said in the recording.
