Kampala was on Sunday morning painted red as a huge crowd turned for the Kabaka’s Birthday Run.
Organisers said over 20,000 runners turned up for the morning event marking Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s 60th birthday.

Mutebi flagged-off the enthusiastic runners featuring in 5, 10 and 21 kilometers events. The flag-off and finish was at Lubiri.
The Katikiro of Buganda Peter Mayiga thanked participants for supporting the fight against Fistula.
There was wild jubilation as the chief runner Prince David Kintu completed the 21km run.
Vision Group Managing Director Robert Kabushenga, the event’s organizing committee chairman, also completed the 21km run.
Wasajja thanked all participants for contributing towards the fight against Fistula. He urged Ugandans to exercise regularly to boost health.
Kabushenga also commended the Katikiro Peter Mayiga, the organizing committee, other partners.
