BUL FC interim coach Joseph Mutyaba has called on his players to take advantage of SC Villa’s current transitional period to beat them in a crucial league tie at Nakivubo stadium on Tuesday.

Villa recently sacked head coach Sam Ssimbwa and replaced him with his assistant Ibrahim Kirya.

Ahead of their early week encounter, Mutyaba believes his team can grind out an away win after the two sides shared the spoils in the first round game.

“Much as there is little change, I still believe we have all that it takes to compete against them now.

“Ssimbwa was a psychological coach who knew all the corners of how to grind out a result against any team even before he plays them. We drew 0-0 at Kakindu  Stadium earlier in the league but Tuesday’s game will be a must-win as we intend to close that gap against another top three side.

“It’s a difficult game but we must return to our winning ways after two consecutive league losseS.”

Meanwhile BUL’s central  defenders Phillip Ssempiira and Asuman Bajampola are expected to start  as team captain Patrick Asiku will likely with partner in-form Milton Kaliisa  and Tito Okello in a three-man attack.

Tuesday’s will be a crucial game for BUL who lost to Simba FC at Bombo and 2-1 at home against Victoria University, although this week’s earlier Uganda Cup victory looks to have resurrected the Jinja-based side’s morale.
