Kabaka appoints diaspora representative

The new representative of His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda in California, Hawaii and Arizona States of the United States of America, Owek. Omugave Ndugwa Ssemakula has thanked His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda for appointing him on his new role.

The new representative of His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda in California, Hawaii and Arizona States of the United States of America, Owek. Omugave Ndugwa Ssemakula has thanked His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda for appointing him on his new role. Owek. Ndugwa, who has been working with Buganda Kingdom for many years, is the pioneer of many Buganda dramas, and founder of Black Pearls Culture Group and Riverside Theatre that has promoted Buganda culture and tradition.   

 

Owek. Ndugwa has  promise to work with all the Kabaka’s subject, the people of Buganda and all Ugandan’s in the States of California, Hawaii and Arizona, in order to see that they work with Owek. Kattikiro of Buganda to market, promote and develop Buganda Kingdom.

 

Owek. Omugave Ndugwa Ssemakula was speaking during the news conference that was held in Los Angeles California, while addressing the media, Ugandans, business owners and investors; the meeting was attended by Buganda Ey'enkya Group that is located in the City of Los Angeles, California.

 

Owek. Ndugwa asked investors and business people to start creating jobs in Buganda in order to reduce and fight unemployment in the Kingdom.  He stated that this will help the Kingdom develop and fight poverty, in order to enable Buganda fulfil its potential and stand on its own. Owek. Ndugwa announce that the Kattikiro of Buganda, Rt. Hon. Peter Mayiga will be visiting California soon and other parts of the United States of America.

 

Buganda Ey’enkya group based in California vowed to work with Owek. Omugave Ndugwa to encourage more investors and business in Buganda, in order to improve people’s income, fight disease, improve education and enable Buganda to be economically and socially strong.

 

Owek. Ndugwa Ssemakula thanked the Ugandan Community in California for organising the conference; he thanked the Community Chairman David Kabukuru, Prof.  Ssesalo, Patrick Muwanga, Hajji Abbey Walusimbi, Capt. Frank Musisi, Damallie Mulindwa, Tomsange of Tea Time Social Company and Network Show Biz for promoting the conference and working towards a better Buganda and their love of Kabaka.
