Civil Aviation Authority corporate league team proved they are penalty specialists after shooting their way to the 'flying start' British Airways mini corporate football tournament shield at Kyadondo on Sunday.

CAA goalkeeper Denis Paul Olung was the hero saving one penalty in the finals' shoot-out against Civicon to inspire his side to a 3-1 win in the final. They had earlier won three other shoot-outs en-route to winning the shield.

Despite Olung saving that and two others in the quarter and semi-finals it was Civicon goalkeeper David Olupot who scooped the best goalkeepers award at the one-day BA and Comic Relief charity tournament aimed at raising funds to help needy children in local communities.

En-route to winning the shield, a British Airways ticket to London for one of their staff and a fully paid trip to Lake Mburo national park courtesy of Platinum Safaris, CCA had earlier won two penalty shoot-outs against Urban TV (3-2) and NSSF (3-1) in the quarter and semi-finals respectively.

Civicon on the other hand had also won in similar fashion against defending champions Coca Cola (3-2) and Spedag (4-3) after a 0-0 draws in the quarter and semi-finals respectively.

British High Commissioner to Uganda Alison Blackburne in company of other sponsors' representatives G4S, AAR, Coca Cola and Platinum Safaris presided over the event.

Sixty percent of the proceeds will go towards charity in Uganda with the 40 percent going to Comic Relief a UK based charity organization.
