NAMIBIA and Kenya topped their groups by winning their last matches in style, to set up a clash for the only available slot at the Pepsi ICC Africa U-19 World Cup qualifier.
Kenya beat Nigeria by 142 runs, while Namibia were tenwicket winners over Tanzania, for both countries to keep their unbeaten record and top Pool B and A respectively.
They will do battle for the lone slot to join South Africa and Zimbabwe as Africa’s representative to the ICC Pepsi U-19 World Cup due in United Arab Emirates next year.
Kenya’s Emmanuel Bundi Ringera had 40 runs off 76 balls to his credit and Dhiren Ghondaria added 32 runs as they set Nigeria a 183 run target.
Raj Savala then picked five wickets for six runs and Patramveer Singh 5/16 as Kenya won by 142 runs to top the Pool B table with six points in three encounters.
