1. The Government of the Republic of Uganda secured a loan from International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) through the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) under the Vegetable Oil Development Project Phase Two (VODP 2). It intends to use part of the proceeds of this loan to procure motorcycles from competent fi rms/companies as follows; Lot 2-Motorcycles (28 No.)
2. The bidding process will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in IFAD procurement guidelines of 1982 amended December 2004.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Vegetable Oil Development Project Phase 2 and inspect the bidding documents at the address given at No. 6 below from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm local time on any working day starting from 23/05/2013.
