Nason Bwesigye has asked to be given time to turn the national men’s volleyball team into a regional powerhouse.

Uganda Volleyball Federation (UVF) last week appointed Bwesigye as the new coach replacing retired tactician Anthony Ndawula.

In an interview with New Vision over the weekend, Bwesigye  explained that he is already designing a plan to engage coaches from all clubs on how to enable quality players join the national team.

“The problem now is that we do not have structures for proper coaching right from clubs yet they supply players to the national team,” Bwesigye stated.

“We need to empower club coaches with skills to identify and coach players,” Bwesigye who will be assisted
by Hannington Nsubuga and Luke Eitit said.
