The judgment of a case in which two Pakistanis’ are charged with having canal knowledge against order of  nature and domestic violence has been adjourned to December 22, 2014 by the Chief magistrate Buganda Road court, Lillian Bucyana.

Yesterday, Bucyana while in her chambers, told court that she cannot pass the judgment because she is in a criminal session.

State prosecutor Lillian Omara, told open court that the chief magistrate was unwell, therefore, she preferred handling the case in her chambers.

The two; Ahmed Shahbaz, 23, and Muhammed Waqas, 31, are alleged to have confined Zainabu Mbabazi for three weeks and sexually molested her continuously until she got a chance to escape.

The other two accused of the same offence are on the run. They include Muhammad Zaheer and Muhammad Sadiq.

Prosecution led by Lino Anguzu alleged that the suspects between September and December, 2012 at their home in Kiwatule, a city suburb, confined the victim and sexually molested her continuously until she got chance to escape.

In addition, the suspects are said to have beaten the victim whenever she tried to resist their attacks. The suspects have since denied the charges preferred against them.

Domestic violence carries a maximum sentence of five years on conviction while sodomy carries a life sentence.

The suspects were arrested by Kiira Road Police Station on October 13, 2013 on allegations of gang rape at their home in Kiwatule.

They were arrested with a valid working permit issued in the names of YUASA motors Limited located at Nakawa Naguru Junction in Kampala. YUASA is in the importation and transportation business.

However, the Police has failed to arrest the other two prime suspects. On December 22, 2014, judgement will be passed on the two; Shahbaz and Waqas.
