CARLOS Dunga’s representative has spoken. His message; Dunga is available at the right price.

“I have spoken to Dunga and he is interested. If the offer is good, he will come,” Ashu Besong told New Vision Sport on phone yesterday.

“He (Dunga) is also looking at Libya.” Besong is part of PSM Limited —a sports management company based in London —that represents a number of coaches around the world.

“We represent many top coaches and if the Uganda football federation is interested or needs a coach, we will listen to offers or invitations to come down and discuss. I am travelling back to UK this morning; you can contact me for any discussions,” Besong added on email before his trip from Morocco to London.

“These are some of the experienced coaches I can offer the Federation. As I mentioned in my other email, if interested, we can arrange a meeting, either in London or we come over to Uganda.”

“Clemente (Javier) is also available. He has been out of a job and wants to prove his credentials.”

Clemente is a respected Spanish coach who has previously handled top sides like Spain (1992- 1998), Serbia (2006-2007) and Cameroon (2010-2011).

Can FUFA afford them?

Dunga and Clemente are top prospects but FUFA would be limited by finances to facilitate the duo, considering the fact that FUFA had previously struggled to pay Bobby Williamson’s reported sh30m-a-month wages, sh3m bonuses and sh4m housing allowance through his final three years.

Cranes are expected to regroup later this month in preparation for their three 2014 World Cup qualifying matches against Liberia, Angola and Senegal.
