Bright Stars FC coach Fred Kajoba has said that his first win in the Uganda Premier League last week was the beginning of a good run for his team in the competition.

Since arrival at Bright Stars in October, Kajoba had not won until last Friday when his team came from a goal down to seal a 2-1 win over struggling Entebbe FC.

Bight Stars netted a penalty thanks to Akram Kakembo before Jimmy Lule beautifully netted from a free kick. He will obviously look up to the two for another win.

"I had expected at least 3-0 at half time but you know football is a unique sport. I got relieved with the win. I can say we have started to win and you should expect more for us," Kajoba said.

His next fixture takes him back to Bombo against Simba FC on Tuesday for the first time since he parted ways with the army officials. Kajoba is a self-confessed Simba FC fan and he cannot hide how the trip is an emotional one for him.

"Oh, it is going to be tough because Simba is like my father in football. I really support the club but I will want to show them that I'm still capable of winning league matches and to prove my worth there," Kajoba explained.

Kajoba will not only be up against his former players but also against a coach he has groomed himself at Bight Stars (his former assistant) John Kayanja, who will be in charge of Simba FC.
