The Institutional Capacity Building Project (ICB) in planning, leadership and management is designed to support the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Uganda in its endavour to strengthen the capacity in the health system in the ares of Leadershp, Planning and Management.

Background:

The Institutional Capacity Building Project (ICB) in planning, leadership and management is designed to support the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Uganda in its endavour to strengthen the capacity in the health system in the ares of Leadershp, Planning and Management. The project is based on the concept of institutional capacity building, which means that it aims at improving performance of institutions and organizations, rather than concentrating exclusively at the individual capacities of staff members.

Functionality of health facilities and quality of services are priorities for the Ministry of Health. In order to improve the surgical services in selected districts within the project regions (Wes-Nile and Rwenzori), medical equipment needs to be upgraded. Read more
