The Chicago- based motocross rider Daniel Sedlak will be the guest rider on Sunday during the Mountain Dew FIM Africa Central Africa Motocross Championship (FIM -CAC) in Busiika.

Sedlak arrived is in the country training on the track so that he can give the fans value for money in the battle with Uganda’s Maxime Van Pee, Asaf Natan and Arthur Blick Jr. in the MX1 category.

“He is in the country and he is training at Busiika with some of the riders as they master the track ahead of the event,” Unisan Bakunda, the event organiser confirmed.

The German national (Sedlak) was in the country last year at Garuga racing track where he beat Blick and Asaf.

Uganda’s Ali Omar Yasser will be battling to seal both the national championship and the regional title in the 85cc category.

Omar and Alestair Blick will face-off for the national title while the former will also take on Kenyan Ellias Sherman for the FIM-CAC title in the 85cc category.

Zambian official Rey Wilson will preside over the event as jury president.

Uganda (1987 points) is trailing Kenya (2343) with 356 points- a margin team captain Arthur Blick Jr. is confident can be overturned.

Tanzania and Rwanda are also expected to compete in the event.

The event is sponsored by Mountain Dew, IAA Resolution Health, Safe Solutions, AON Insurance and Vision Group.
