The National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) Organization has allocated funds to be used for supply and installation of servers, software and peripheral equipment.
INVITATION TO BID FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF SERVERS,
SOFTWARE AND PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT
PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NO. NAADS/BSKT/SUPLS/11-12/00024/24
1. The National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) Organization has allocated funds to be used for supply and installation of servers, software and peripheral equipment.
2. NAADS organization invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to supply and install servers, software and peripheral equipment.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding Procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.
4. Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document from NAADS Secretariat at the address in No.9(a) given below from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday except public holidays.
5. A complete set of bidding document in English maybe purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address in No.9(a) below stating their preferred bank. Bidders are advised to collect Bank Payment Registration Slips at the address in No.9(a) below and make payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000= to any of the 21 banks authorised to receive Non Tax Revenue fees on behalf of URA; which shall issue a receipt of payment.
Bidders will only be issued with the bidding document upon presentation of an original receipt of payment.
6. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday 28th March, 2013 at 10:00 am at the address in No.9(b).
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below in No.9(a) at or before 10:00 am on Tuesday 9th April, 2013. All bids must be accompanied with a Bid Security of UGX. 2,381,000.
Late bids shall be rejected.
8. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below in No.9(b) at 10:30 am on Tuesday 9th April, 2013.
