Singer Martin Angume recuperating

Singer Martin Angume is steadily recovering. He said he cannot die like a cockroach because he has a lot of unfulfilled plans ahead of him.

In an interview with Vision Online from his sick bed at the national referral Hospital, Mulago, Angume said he was overwhelmed by the love his fellow artistes, friends and well-wishers showed him when he was pronounced dead.

“I was overwhelmed and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came to check on me and God willing I will be out of here soon,” said Angume who seemed weak.

Most top artistes rushed to Mulago Hospital Tuesday morning when news circulated that their colleague had died.

Angume is suffering from a kidney disorder which was discovered in its late stages but doctors said that he is responding well and that he would recover.

Artistes contributed unidentified amount of money and appointed a committee to follow up on his medication.
