Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board

1. The Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of stationery, toner cartridges, examination materials, security documents, marking centres and office cleaning.

2. The UBTEB invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of stationery, toner cartridges, examination materials, security documents, marking centres and office cleaning. The entity intends to enter into framework contract with the successful providers.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries. Bids are being invited for an estimated quantity of supplies under framework contracting arrangement.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from UBTEB and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No. 7(a) from 8:30 a.m to 5:00 pm. 

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English maybe purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below in No. 7(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UShs. 100,000/= or equivalent in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash payment through the bank upon obtaining a Bank Payment Advice Form from UBTEB. The document will be picked from UBTEB. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below in No. 7(a) at or before 10:00am on 26th March 2013. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UShs. 1,000,000/= or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below in No. 7(b) at 10:30 am on 26th March, 2013.
