In the Heathens game 2013 try top scorer and golden boot winner Phillip Wokorach showed interest of reclaiming the title he lost to Kobs’ Justin Kimono and Monger’s Adrian Waswa in the 2013/2014 season when he scored four tries in one game.

He also made an assist when instead of scoring the fifth try he gave the chance to Asuman Mugerwa to touch down.

“I just don’t need the Golden Boot and Try Scorer award but am targeting the MVP awards at the end of the season,” Wokorach told the New Vision online after the game.

Lawrence Ssebuliba and Michael Wokorach also added two tries each as Bishop Onen, Alex Mubiru and Evans Kingasia added one each.

Heathens captain Michael Wokorach was voted man of the match.

In Entebbe, Sadolin Mongers managed a 21-17 win over their rivals Toyota Buffaloes in a mouthwatering tie that saw Buffaloes miss the services of Ezekiel Okol and Charles Uhuru.

At Legends, Kobs smashed Impis 68-0 with 2013/14 season rugby MVP Oscar Kalyango scoring two tries as Steven Ogwete, Justin Kimono, Joseph Aredo, Derick Tukwasiibwe, Emma Echodu and Scot Oluoch added a try each.
