The boxers to participate in the five bout event will be insured by Family Insurance Services under the A+ Insurance policy.

“We have secured sponsorship from Rainbow city hospital that will make sure that our boxers are healthy and ready for the fights but another important thing is that all the boxers will step in the Ring while insured,” Mukasa stated.

Meanwhile objects including water, soda and beer bottles, tins and any other dangerous object that can be thrown into the ring have been banned from the hall during the tournament .

“We shall check every person entering and no bottle, tin, mairungi, marijuana and other shall be allowed inside the hall,” AIGP Andrew Serowen stated.

Uganda’s Kenneth Odeke takes on Tanzania’s Ashraf Sulaiman in the heavyweight category 10 rounds.

Power horse energy drink, Rainbow City Hospital, NBS TV, Good Shepherd, Police and UPDF are the sponsors of the event.
