Vision Volleyball Camp coach Hannington Nsubuga will send out his charges onto the court for Game Two of the NSSF Volleyball League semifinal playoffs with instructions to maintain their game one performance and seal a maiden finals fixture.

Vision Volleyball Camp beat Uganda Christian University (UCU) 25-13, 25-14 25-14 in Game One last weekend and another win today will certainly confirm that Nsubuga’s effort to assemble arguably the most vibrant squad in the league is not in vain.

After their victory in Game One, Nsubuga said, “I wish to continue to the final with a straight win. I will be happy to meet whichever
team will come our way.”

Other teams which are just one win away from securing a playoff finals place, following their respective Game One victories, include women’s defending champions Ndejje University, Nemostars and Nkumba.

Men’s defending champions Nemostars players will be out to impress head coach Anthony Ndawula in Game Two in the best of three semi-finals playoffs tonight.

After their straight sets defeat of Sport-S in Game One, Ndawula said that his top players did not demonstrate their full strength prompting his captain George Aporu to tell whoever cared to listen not to miss Game Two.

In the second women’s semi-final, the encounter between Nkumba and defending champions Ndejje will be a grudge match. Nkumba will be fighting to win Game Two and get back into contention and possibly go on to secure a final and reclaim the title they last won in 2011.
