BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING

Supply of Motor vehicles under Lot1&2

BUT/SPLS/2012-2013/00100

1. The Busitema University represented by Government of Uganda has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of motor vehicles.

2. The Busitema University invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of motor vehicles as indicated below under

Lot1 &2 and bidders can apply for either only one Lot or both.

Lot 1 New Station wagon motor vehicle.

Lot 2 New 4 WD Double cabin pick up vehicle.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and are open to all eligible bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement &Disposal Unit Busitema University and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 8:00a.m-5:00pm.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000/-(Fifty Thousand shillings only). The method of payment will be cash payment at any Stanbic bank A/c No.0140040732301.].

No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 2:00p.m on Wednesday 6 February, 2013.

Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 2:15p.m on Wednesday 6 February,2013.

(b) Address documents will be issued from: Procurement& Disposal Unit Busitema University

(d) Address of Bid Opening: University Board- Busitema University

8. Busitema University reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or all bids.
