The strong field will take advantage of the absence of previous winners Willy Kitatta and Peter Ssendawula who are in Zambia for the President’s Cup tournament.

Irene Nakalembe, Eva Magala, Anne Kiconco, Pauline Nambi, Diana Nabukenya and Resty Nalutaaya will be some of the ladies to watch out for as golfers brace themselves for some of the best golf prizes on offer.

According to Emmanuel Mugamba a director with JBG, the sponsors, a seniors’ category for golfers aged 55 years and above will be introduced at next year’s event.

The JBG competition, one of the biggest events in Entebbe, started on Thursday with a sh10m professionals’ rounds which ended Friday.
