Kampala Area Federation of Communities (KAFOC) is a registered community based organization that comprises of four communities of Bbiina, Mbuya, Nakulabye and Kireka.
KAFOC works with children, families and communities to fight child poverty in all its manifestations including deprivation where children lack basic needs, exclusion where children are not allowed to participate in decision making and vulnerability at risk.
KAFOC’s Disposing and Procurement Unit invites competent companies to apply for prequalification to provide goods and services during the FY 13/14 as described below.

Motor Vehicle repairs and maintenance

Hands on Motor vehicle mechanic trainers with busy motor garages around Kireka, Bbiina, Nakulabye and Mbuya.
Hands on hair dresser trainers with busy salons around Kireka, Bbiina, Nakulabye and Mbuya
Meals during trainings and Workshops around Kireka, Bbiina, Nakulabye and Mbuya
Local special Hire providers – Saloon cars for town use.
Interested firms/Individuals are supposed to provide their business profiles complete with the following information:
a) Cover letter
b) Certificate of registration or incorporation dully certified by the registrar of companies
c) Copy of a Valid Trading Licence
d) A copy of a Valid URA Tax compliance certificate
e) Company profile, physical address and technical personnel with their curriculum vitae attached
f) Audited accounts for the last 2 years if any
g) List of Clients, Full address, Referees, Branches
h) Evidence of recent similar contracts
i) Certificates of completion.
Expression of interest (EOI) must be submitted to the address below at or before 12.00pm on 7th December 2012 after payment of non-refundable fee of 30,000/= (Thirty thousand shs only). Late submissions shall be rejected. Bids will be opened on the 7th December, 2012 at KAFOC Area Office at 3:00pm in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
Sealed proposals should be enclosed in a big envelope, clearly marked as “Supply of goods & services’’ and addressed to:
