Patricia Kiprotich led a nondescript life in Kapchorwa until a few months ago. The 24-year-old spent her days caring for her two young children and working as a peasant farmer.

The stunningly glamorous woman who graces the cover of the new issue of Flair Magazine, on sale today, is a far cry from the timid-looking woman that stood beside the celebrated Stephen Kiprotich, the 2012 Olympics Men’s Marathon gold medalist on his return home.

After spending the day with Flair for Her Magazine’s glamour team and The Face Studio in Bugolobi, Mrs. Kiprotich soon turned from ordinary rural farmer to a glamour queen.

Her remarkable transformation is spread over 10 pages of this year’s Christmas issue. See for yourself how a little pampering coupled with make-up and beautiful clothes can turn a woman to glam.

After the day-long extreme make-over, the stunning woman who emerged managed to render her own husband absolutely speechless. He vowed to ensure that she went to the salon regularly and was decked in clothes befitting the wife of a national hero.

Gone are the days: Patricia Kiprotich reading about her husband's victory  at Kapichorwa in August 2012

And the moment that Flair Magazine put out a teaser on Facebook of Mrs. Kiprotich’s makeover, the photograph went viral as thousands rushed to share the picture over the social network.

Some unscrupulous media houses even went as far as trying to elbow in by trying to pass off the photo as their own, showing her before and after the make-over.
