19 year old mother of triplets in dilemma

A 19 year old mother is stranded after giving birth to three children.

Moreen Kemigisha, a resident of Kamwokya, Kifumbira Zone in Kawempe division Kampala is in need of assistance to look after her three sons.

“They eat and drink a lot yet I don’t have money to but food,” Kemigisha explained.

She said that the father of the triplets Ivan Mbabazi is a low income earner who cannot afford to look after the three babies.

“My husband is a hawker who deals in watches and other small merchandise, so he is unable to raise enough money to look after three babies,” she added.

Kemigisha added that the 7months triplets have started crawling yet they stay in an overcrowded dirty slum in Kamwokya which hampers their movement.

“I need money to get a better room where my triplets can have space to crawl from,” She says.

However, she praised her 20 year old husband who is in Kisoro to attend his uncle’s burial for being a good father.

“He is not like the boys of today who abandon girls after impregnating them. If I had given birth to one child, he could be in position to look after me and the new-born baby,” Kemigisha said.

During the interview at Vision Group offices, the husband (Mbabazi) called in to find out the welfare of the children, where Kemigisha replies citing scarcity of drinks and food as well.

Before falling in love with Mbabazi, Kemigisha was working in a restaurant at Mulago, but abandoned the job and started staying with Mbabazi.

She requested for help from the public so that she can bring up her children.
