ALL Ugandans have a chance to fully participate in the Golden Jubilee festivities by sending their birthday greetings and photographs of their loves one and memoirs to Vision Group.

These messages and photographs will be uploaded on the website at no cost.  The Managing Director Robert Kabushenga this week sounded a call this week to all readers to make their submissions. Publication of these photographs and messages will be at no cost.

“Let the world know,” Kabushenga says. It is an opportunity to tell the world what we think about our country and show them where we can from.

On October 9, this year, the country will be celebrating 50 years from the time its own citizens took its reigns from the hands of the white men. The Union Jack was lowered and the Ugandan flag was hoisted.

After 50 years of the country’s the pride and tribulations, a few weeks from now, it will have a reason to celebrate.  You could be making 50 years on this year’s national independence celebrations.

This means you were born on the same day with the country’s day of attainment of independence, the more reason you should celebrate with this Golden Jubilee in a unique way.

All Ugandans, no matter where you are; it could be the remotest part of this country or the most expensive and luxurious part of this world, you will have your messages and photographs run on this website.

Some people who attended the independence celebrations in 1962 took photographs. These will also be run for free as long as they are submitted to us.

You could email us at digital@newvision.co.ug, or deliver the photographs and messages at the Vision Group receptions.
