Presidents Museveni, Ahmadinejad hold bilateral talks

President Yoweri Museveni has held bilateral talks with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the sidelines of the 16 Non-Aligned Movement Summit taking place in Tehran. The two leaders who discussed various issues including the peace process in the middle east focusing on Syria, agreed that both sides should continue exploring the option of dialogue.

President Museveni thanked his host for the warm welcome and for hosting a successful summit. He called on President Ahmadinejad to encourage local Iranian investors to come to Uganda and explore investment opportunities there. Read full release here
