Basoga leaders warned on intrigue

The Basoga have been advised to refrain from intrigue if the region is to develop. Busoga Kingdom Prime Minister Wilson Mutebe Muwereza said intrigue had caused many Basoga to miss out on sharing the national cake.

He was speaking during a ceremony where acting Jinja resident district Commissioner Judith Rwakishumba handed over office to her predecessor, Richard Gulume Balyaino, on Monday.

 Muwereza said some Basoga fight their colleagues whenever they are appointed or promoted to lucrative government jobs.
