Kyambogo Warriors lift baseball crown

Kyambogo Buffaloes emerged champions of the inaugural National Baseball league after beating Mehta Lugazi Rovers in the last phase of the play-offs over the weekend.

The winning team, under Kyambogo University, won two of the three games in the decisive round whose action started a week before.

Salapio Mateja, a first year student of industrial art and design, inspired the champions to victory with a brilliant performance.

George Drani was the best player for Mehta.
